Your published docs site comes with search and an AI reader chat built in — no Algolia to wire up, no third-party widget to bolt on. Readers can search across every page, or just ask a question and get an answer drawn from your content.

Search

Every published site includes full-text search across your pages. It's on by default — readers open it from the docs site and jump straight to the matching page. As you publish new pages, they're searchable on the next build.

Reader chat

Reader chat answers questions in natural language using your docs as the source. Instead of hunting through pages, a reader asks “how do I authenticate?” and gets an answer grounded in your content, with the relevant pages to read next.

Grounded in your docs

The chat answers from your published pages — so as your docs improve, the answers improve. It isn't a generic chatbot guessing; it's reading what you wrote.

Nothing to set up

Both work out of the box on published sites — there's no configuration step. Write good pages and keep them current, and search and chat get better automatically.
